The
Sunday School program is now in its 4th year in the
new parish hall. We thank the parents for
recognizing the importance of Christian Education in
the spiritual lives and development of their
children and for bringing them faithfully to Sunday
School each week.
Sunday
School (grades 5 and below) meet each Sunday in the
chapel at 9:45 a.m. for Children’s Church. Lynden
Willingham and Meg Melusen guide the children
through a condensed worship service which includes a
reading, The Lord’s Prayer, the Nicene Creed and
music. On the second Sunday of each month, students
sing a song/hymn during the 11 a.m. service at
Grace. Special thanks to Lyn and Meg for preparing
them so well. What great voices!
One
notable change this year is the breakdown of the
students into much smaller class sizes. This allows
the teacher to design lessons/projects to be geared
to a more age specific level and maximizes the ample
classroom space in the parish hall. We have a
fabulous team of Sunday School teachers and their
incredible patience and devotion to the youth of our
parish is most appreciated.
