Clarke Parish has many exciting groups that are always eager to welcome new friends!

 Bible Study
Our Bible study group which meets weekly in the new Parish hall under the leadership of the Rector.  Bible study group meets Wednesday mornings at 10:30.  Eighteen to twenty people generally participate.

The Bible study groups welcome anyone, anytime - please join us!  The study of Holy Scriptures is vital to an active and growing Christian faith and life.

This year we have studied the several of the New Testament Epistles, the book of Revelation, and are now in Genesis.

Episcopal Church Women  ECW is open to all women of the church and offer fellowship and study while doing all those wonderful things that keep the Parish going!

The annual Christmas Bazaar brings in many talented and generous women and is our main money making project providing the funds for our "outreach projects".  The Lenten Lunches began as a convenience for those attending the noonday Lenten services and have grown to be very popular.  Other fundraising projects have included the sale of cookbooks and church plates.

ECW has given donations to Hospice, FISH, Free Medical Clinic, Shelter for Abused Women, Salvation army, Cure Autism now, Help with Housing, Visiting Nurses, Bishop Sinabulya, and the Diocese of Virginia.

St. Mary's ECW meets the second Sunday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Grace ECW meets the second Sunday of each month at Noon.

If you would like more information about ECW, please call the Parish office (540-955-1610).

 Prayer Chain
The prayer chain consists of a group of people linked together by telephone to pray for those in need.  Prayers may concern anything that is on the person's mind - sick relatives or friends, upcoming job interviews, housing needs, or, the ones we enjoy the most - praise for answered prayers!

Jesus said, "For where two or three of you are gathered together in My name, there I am in your midst" (Matthew 18:20).

If you would like to activate the prayer chain or become a part of it, please call the Parish office (540-955-1610) and leave a message for Sue Nolan.
